Today the server has been upgraded to a new version of the Noquarter mod. it is now running 1.2.7 version.
due to this upgrade, a few settings have changed, and some others have been undone.
i hope to be able to fix them as soon as possible.
please provide feedback at our forums, or in case you seen bugs you can also report them there

-install on local machine:
1. Download the Outer_Space.pk3 file
2. Put the pk3 file into your "etmain" folder (usually can be found at: "C:Program FilesWolfenstein - Enemy Territoryetmain")
3. start the game
4. open console with the ~ key (left from the 1 and up the TAB key)
5. type /g_gametype 2 (it will tell you it will be set on restart, DONT restart)
6. type /map Outer_space
7. play!
-install on a server:
1. Download the Outer_Space.pk3 file
2. Put the pk3 file into the "etmain" folder
3. if needed, add to your fastdownload server
4. add map "Outer_Space" to your maprotation.cfg (or other depending on mod)
6. (re)start server
7. play and have fun!

Note: Axis team is attacking, Allies are Defending.
Axis Objectives:
- Axis will spawn in their attack ship, and need to destroy the East and West Energy crystal to open the portal
- Once the portal is open, axis will spawn in front of it. Now they need to destroy the Door to the power crystal
- Additionally the Axis team can destroy the Side wall to get a extra route trough the sewer to get to the door.
- Once the door has been blown. they way is open to destroy the Power crystal.
- Additionally the Axis team can try to build the neutral command post.
- Additionally the Axis team must blow up the power crystal defenses.
Allied Objectives:
- Allies need to prevent the Axis team from opening the portal, by preventing the East and West energy crystal getting blown up.
- Additionally the Allied team can construct the protection MG on the main deck.
- if the Axis succeed opening the portal, the Allies must prevent the Door to the power crystal to be blown up.
- If the Axis team sill is able to succeed, the allies must prevent at all cost that the power crystal gets destroyed.
- Additionally the Allied team can build a command post.
- Additionally the Allied team can build power crystal defenses to slow down the axis attackers.

Some days back, we have disabled the /kill command on the server "best maps #1", after reading the posts on this page: http://www.aqua-page.nl/1869forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26&start=30
i understand now that the kill command gets abused more than that it is used in a good way.
i will try to think of a new command in cases that a player is stuck, so he dont need to go to spec and re-join a team to become un-stuck.
but so far i have not been able to think of something that cant be abused at the same time.

The Shoutbox / Chatbox is now located in the Forum part of our website. Link to the forum is found in the left menu.
this is because some computers had problems with the layout of the shoutbox.
the Shoutbox / Chatbox on the forums is even improved related to the old one.
some futures:
- Smilies
- Forum BBcodes
- Refresh every 5 seconds of messages
- Notify sound on new message in shoutbox

Guests are allowed to post too without having a account on the forums, although they are limited in the futures they can use in chat. (smap-bot prevention)
In case Spambots are able to use the chatbox too, the ability for guests to post will be removed, but lets just hope this wont be necessary :)

As you may have seen, we have now added Modern Warfare 2 (cod6) part to the forums. 1869*_$eba$ will be leading the MW2 section of the 1869*_ Clan
so for all players that have Modern Warfare 2, its time to make our forces stronger! (6)

**Wolf:ET news**
On server 1 i have fired op a new test on the way how the maps are loaded in the server.
at first the maps were loaded as "single map objective" but as you may have seen, the ET game is a bit less popular these days, therefore i have now made it possible that the maps are loaded as "campaign"
i have always had the feeling this attracts more players.
only downside on this is that you will get a new download for every time a new mapcycle is out.
lets hope we get those 40 slots filled up

News for 02-02-2010:
This passed weekend, our teamspeak server has been upgraded from teamspeak 2 to teamspeak 3.

Small update here about the passed few days:
Website
As you may have noticed, biggest change is within the forums. These have been totally restyled. i do still miss some of the emotions to display correct. they still have a black background from the passed forum layout. i hope this will be fixed in the future :)
also we have plans to fire up some more contest on the forums to make these a bit more active for the community. if you have any more good ideas, feel free to post them.
a other, somewhat smaller and less important change is the layout of the website itself has been changed a bit.
at first i removed the login at the website, after all, for a lot of people it was not working, and there were like no advantages of registering here. second reason is that the forums, where the posting should be done, need a separate registration anyway.
A other small change is the shoutbox. to the left of this news box. i removed the fields that were asking for a website and a email adress. so from now on its way more easy to post a small shout here. also the field of the messages being displayed has been enlarged a bit, this way not 3, but 10 last messages will be shown, and the message box itself where you write your message has been enlarged some more for more easy posting and writing.
note, to prevent spambots from using this box, i have build in a security that block the message when you try to post a url within it.

Best-maps #1:
due to the uploading of the new version of the mod passed Sunday 24-01-2010, there have been some little buggs.
but the biggest one was that the sv_cheats (server cheats) were enabled without knowing this :) because of this there have been some incidents in the past week that made me see this mistake. so with godspeed this have been fixed again.
there may still be small errors within the mod/settings, but if you see any, please report them to the forums!

Passed Sunday (24-01-2010) the Noquarter mod was updated from version 1.2.0 to version 1.2.3
this will include some new futures.
there might be a few bugges, so it will still take a few days to fix.
please post on the forums if you find any buggs :)
also i am working on some new weapon stats, but more on that later on
